Pete Rose, is the all-time Major League leader in hits (4,256). He won three World Series rings, three batting titles, one Most Valuable Player Award, two Gold Gloves, the Rookie of the Year Award, and made 17 All-Star appearances at an unequaled five different positions (2B, LF, RF, 3B & 1B). He played from 1963-1986 for the Cincinnati Reds, Montreal Expos and Philadelphia Phillies and is a member of Major League Baseball's All Century Team. The Cincinnati Reds of the 1970s earned the nickname "the Big Red Machine," and is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest teams ever.
